Guess what's coming to Perth this Halloweeen

No one ever thought they'd escape the cornfield outside Uxbridge. The dry stalks rattled like bones night after night as the sounds of whispers and moans kept the neighbours trembling inside their tightly locked and shuttered houses.

 

But at least...at least...you knew where the things were.

Now, the cornfield lies silent and abandoned and animals have stopped disappearing. Too bad that's not the end of it.

Frightened night time travellers have been trading stories about glimpsing something heading north east along little-travelled back roads. It looks, they say, like an oddly assorted group of travellers. Some of them never stop talking to themselves; others move as if they're not quite human. Still others seem to be carrying strange tools that glow or make grinding sounds.

 

All anyone knows for certain is that they're on the move and they're heading toward Perth, getting closer all the time.
